The JM Jazz World Orchestra takes pride in being the premier global youth jazz ensemble, uniting exceptionally skilled jazz musicians selected through a worldwide open audition process overseen by an esteemed international panel of judges. Each summer, the orchestra joins forces with some of the globe's most distinguished conductors, instrumentalists, and composers, embarking on an annual tour across esteemed European venues and jazz festivals.
This year the tour is set to start off with a rehearsal session in the enchanting Istrian village of Groznjan, Croatia, which offers the ideal ambience for rehearsals, relaxation, and immersing oneself in the musical history of the village's ancient stones:
