​In 2013 the JMJW orchestra is under the artistic leadership of the renowned Belgian musician and composer Frank Vaganée. He studied jazz at the Antwerp Conservatory and the Jazz Studio (under John Ruocco). In 1993 he founded the Brussels Jazz Orchestra (BJO) where he holds the position of lead alto saxophonist as well as artistic director. With the BJO and as a guest soloist, he achieved international fame touring Europe, the USA, Japan and Russia and he collaborated with the greatest international jazz artists. He also is a professor in the Lemmensinstituut in Leuven.
Coaches
For the courses and rehearsals during the first week, the different sections of the Jazz Orchestra will be instructed by musicians of the Brussels Jazz Orchestra.
