The JM Jazz World is not only about the world's premier international big band; it also includes other programs brought to you by our national members, international summer jazz camps, international projects, jazz ensembles tours and international exchanges of jazz musicians between the JMI countries.

JAZZ IMPROVISATION SUMMER CAMP JM NORWAY
JM Norway seeks young, talented jazz musicians to participate as international guests at a jazz improvisation course organized this summer in the idyllic Agder Folkhøgsjkole in Søgne, south of Norway! The course offers a meeting among professionals, students and talented amateurs in a weeklong celebration of improvisation within jazz and related styles: playing and instrumental classes, composing/arranging classes, evenings out to concerts, jam sessions, lectures and grand final performance at the end of the course.
This opportunity is open exclusively to musicians within the Jeunesses Musicales International (JMI) network. To find your local section of JMI visit: www.jmi.net.

SUMMER JAZZ ACADEMY GROZNJAN JM CROATIA
The Summer Jazz Academy is held together with the international jazz festival ‘JAZZ IS BACK BP’, which received the Best European Small Festival Award in 2008 (European Jazz Award Committee). Its main objective is to provide young jazz musicians with the possibility to work at high professional standards in major concert halls, theatres and festivals, and with outstanding jazz musicians, sharing musical ideas in the field of jazz music.
All the participants will have the opportunity to hear their professional colleagues and to perform (individually and in group) in the festival program at the final concert on 27th July.
